Lindfield Fine Dentistry is a small and dedicated practice, which allows us to focus on the best interests of your dental health. We take pride in providing high-quality and personal care from dentists and therapists who genuinely know you and your family.
We believe dentistry done well is dentistry done carefully. We take time to understand each patient's situation, explain options clearly, and support informed decisions. We do not recommend unnecessary treatment, and we never rush.
Our modern surgery is equipped to handle a comprehensive range of treatments, from routine preventative care to more complex restorative and surgical procedures. Everything under one roof, with continuity of care you can rely on.
Lindfield Fine Dentistry has been caring for patients on Sydney's North Shore for many years, including patients from Killara, Roseville, Gordon and surrounding areas.
Meet your dentists
Dr Lynette Yen
Principal Dentist - BDSc (W. Aust)
Dr Yen brings over two decades of experience across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and regional WA. Her philosophy is that dental care should be approachable, attentive, and transparent.
She takes a holistic view of oral health, considering diet, lifestyle, and long-term wellbeing alongside immediate treatment needs. Her gentle manner makes her particularly well suited to patients who feel anxious about dental visits, as well as children experiencing dental care for the first time.
Dr Yen has a particular interest in dental implants, restorative work, root canal therapy, gum treatment, tooth extractions, and children’s dentistry.
She advocates preventative care and helping patients understand how to maintain excellent oral health between visits, so that non-routine treatment remains the exception rather than the rule.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Yen keeps busy with her family and three children, enjoys playing classical and contemporary piano, and even an occasional camping trip.
Dr Alexandra Barratt
Dentist - BDS (Hons) (Syd), FRACDS
With over two decades of practice on the North Shore, Sydney CBD and Double Bay, Dr Barratt brings a broad and well-developed skill set to her patients at Lindfield Fine Dentistry.
Her priority is making the dental experience genuinely positive. She believes that patients who feel comfortable and informed are more likely to maintain their oral health over the long term.
Dr Barratt has a particular interest in orthodontics, root canal treatment, gum treatment, cosmetic work, and children’s dentistry.
She focuses on helping patients build lasting healthy habits, working with them on the dietary and daily care practices that support strong teeth and gums for life. Her gentle approach is especially valued by patients who have had difficult dental experiences in the past.
Dr Barratt’s interests outside of dental work include hiking with her husband and three children, cooking, and playing violin with the NSW Doctors Orchestra.

We explain your situation and options in clear and simple language. You will always understand exactly what is happening and why before any treatment begins.

We recommend only what you genuinely need. We do not suggest unnecessary treatment, and always present all available options so you can make an informed decision.
